These Terms & Conditions apply to every reservation made on kanlodge.com for stays at KAN Boutique Lodge, experiences and private transportation. Please choose the section for your booking. The General section applies to all bookings. By booking you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
4.1 Accurate information
Guests must provide accurate contact and booking details. KAN is not responsible for problems caused by materially incorrect information, except where the law requires otherwise.
4.2 Payments
Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers. KAN never stores your card details.
4.3 Refunds
Refunds go back to the original payment method. A refund is confirmed as completed only after the payment provider has verified it. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank, and we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe.
4.4 If we cannot deliver a confirmed service
If KAN or a provider cannot deliver a confirmed booking, we offer an agreed alternative of comparable value or a full refund for the affected service. For lodge stays, section 1.7 applies.
4.5 Extraordinary circumstances
Events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions or major transport disruption, may affect services. KAN will tell you the available alternatives and refund options under the booking conditions and the law.
4.6 Liability
Guests move around the property and take part in activities at their own risk and must take reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. We recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, health and activities.
4.7 Privacy
Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Guides, drivers and providers receive only what is needed to deliver your service.
4.8 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Guatemala. Nothing in them limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. (Subject to legal review.)
