Cancellation & Refund Policy

- Free cancellation with a 100% refund until 14 days before check-in (00:00 Guatemala time), unless your booking confirmation states different conditions.
- Cancellations within 14 days of check-in, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
- Normal rain, clouds or an unfavourable forecast do not qualify for a refund outside the free-cancellation window.
- If KAN must cancel your stay, you can choose new dates or receive a full refund.
Lodge bookings
Free cancellation with a 100% refund until 00:00 Guatemala time, 14 calendar days before check-in. The exact deadline (date and time) is shown before payment, in your confirmation and on your cancellation page. Later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable, unless the law requires otherwise or KAN agrees in writing. If your booking confirmation shows different conditions from our booking system, those conditions apply. Unsafe conditions: see Terms 1.7.
Weather, how to cancel and refunds
Weather: normal rain, clouds or a poor forecast do not qualify for a refund outside the free-cancellation period. If you choose not to take part because of ordinary weather, the normal policy applies. If KAN or the provider cancels for safety, you choose to reschedule or to receive a full refund.
How to cancel: use the link in your confirmation email. The page shows your exact deadline and refundable amount before you confirm, and opening it never cancels anything. Or write to info@kanlodge.com.
Refunds: refunds go to the original card and are confirmed only after the payment provider verifies them. Timing depends on your bank and is not guaranteed. If eligibility is unclear, our team reviews the request personally.
